OK so you can't be of my particular vintage without having heard a little ABC(The Look of Love - Remember?). It's just a fact. Heck, I'll even admit to having enjoyed quite a bit of ABC in my time. If that worries you, let me assure you that I'm now firmly rooted in a musical diet consisting of substantially less disco. That said, some musical memories never leave a person's brain and because of that I couldn't help but recognize a catchy riff the first time I heard Coldplay's "Talk". That was a while ago, but now that I have a blog I'm sharing this late-breaking news as if it's hot off the press.
Have a look and listen to the below videos. You'll only have to listen to the first fifteen seconds or so of each song to hear the similarity. (I'd listen to them both all the way through though, they're good tunes.)
